NOD for iPhone with X-Plane 12 on Mac. NOD Desktop uses your Mac’s camera instead.

More than just head tracking.

All of it on the iPhone you already own

  • 01

    6DoF head tracking

Lean in, glance across, look over your shoulder — the cockpit viewpoint follows your head in all six degrees of freedom. This is what NOD is for. Everything below exists to support it.

  • NOD’s CENTER and PAUSE TRACKING controls

    02

    One-tap control

CENTER sets your neutral wherever you actually sit. PAUSE holds the view when you step away.

  • NOD’s live PFD showing attitude, 92 knots indicated, 5,606 feet, 1,360 feet per minute climb and heading 264

    03

    Live PFD

Turn the phone sideways for airspeed, altitude, attitude and vertical speed from the simulator.

  • NOD’s moving map showing the aircraft, its route trail and OR Tambo International Airport

    04

    Moving map

Airports and runways read from X-Plane’s own data, with pan, zoom and a track-up view.

  • NOD showing wind 317 true at 6 knots, QNH 1025 and plus 15 degrees Celsius over FAOR

    05

    Simulator weather

Wind, pressure and temperature exactly as the simulator reports them — not a forecast.

A quick look at the features currently being developed for NOD.

    Coming soon

    Coming with NOD Pro

NOD Pro is coming soon — adding automatic flight recording, post-flight review, Pilot Rating and progress tracking. NOD Core remains a one-time purchase and does not require NOD Pro.

    • Automatic flight recording while NOD is connected to X-Plane.
    • Flight Review after you land: altitude profile, touchdown, Replay Approach and a written debrief.
    • Pilot Rating: a practice rating out of 100 from your recent landings and approaches, worked out on your iPhone.
    • Progress over time, with your rating, Landings and Flight History.
    • NOD Pro Flight Review from the development build: an SF50 flight from FALA to FAOR, 22 minutes and 57 nautical miles, with its altitude profile, Replay Approach, and a touchdown at minus 581 feet per minute

      Flight Review, straight after landing

    • NOD Pro Pilot Rating from the development build: 52 out of 100, made of Landing 33, Approach 70 and Consistency 55, above the five flights the rating uses

    Built for X‑Plane

Your head moves. Your view follows.

Use your iPhone to look around your X‑Plane cockpit naturally.

    • Look into the turn

Follow the runway through the circuit by turning your head to adjust your cockpit view.

    • Take a closer look

Lean towards the instruments or shift your viewpoint with six degrees of freedom.

    • Keep your hands on the controls

Look around the cockpit without reaching for the mouse to move your view.

    Fly first.
    Decide after.

NOD gives you 10 minutes of successful simulator tracking, so you can be sure it works on your own setup before you buy.

Only successful simulator tracking uses the allowance. Nothing else does.

After that, NOD Core unlocks unlimited tracking. One purchase. Yours for good. No subscription.
